I drove from Placerville on a Saturday to pick up something for my son’s birthday. Both on Google and on the answering machine that picked up when I called, the hours were until 5pm. When I drove up at 3:50pm there was a handwritten note on the door with their new hours. Gas is too expensive right now for a wasted trip. Please change the message on the machine at the very least.

My sister (my wedding planner ) placed an order for cupcakes for our wedding. She was told she must communicate through email to order so after an exchange of emails she believed we were confirmed to pick up cupcakes for Friday , May 21. My fiancé arrived at the shop to pick up the order and was told our order was never confirmed (not our fault when we have emails proving so). The owner proceeded to get an attitude with my fiancé and raised his voice at him, instead of apologizing for the error. They thankfully were able to put an order together and offered a discount . However , do to this owners attitude and manner In which he conducted himself I will NEVER step foot in this bakery again. He may provide quality cakes , but he needs to learn better customer service skills !
