The salesperson was knowledgeable, professional and patient. I choose a new lampshade and finial for two lamps and she even helped me out to my car. Definitely bring in the lamp you want a shade for to get a perfect fit.

I would highly recommend The Lamp Shade. They we're able to re-wire a lamp that had been in my husband's family since the 60's. Marianne also helped me pick out a new shade and finial that gave the old a modern touch while still keeping it's classic integrity. I will definitely be back!

Yes, We repair lamps electrically - new sockets, cords, etc. Our expert repairman has over 30 years of experience. Bring your lamps for repair and we can access your needs and approximate cost. Repairs are done at our single location in 1-2 weeks. We will call you when your lamps are ready. We do not repair halogen lamps or rewire chandeliers.
Street parking.
HI Donna, Our business hours are M-F 10-6, Sat 10-4. closed Sunday. There is metered parking on N High St and E Second Ave beside the store. Meters take coins, plastic and the new ParkColumbus App. The app makes it easy to park in the Short North. There is also a new parking garage in the White Castle building. We validate your first hour for $1 in three local garages. We hope to see you soon!
Currently we do not have any plaid shades in stock. But we can order shades made with your fabric. Bring your lamp to determine size, price and yardage. We do have two 12" diameter white drums with red and gray trim. We can also order red or gray shades with contrasting trims in linen or silk fabrics. We hope to see you soon!
