Hodgdon Meadow is a bit of an overflow camping site for those who weren’t successful securing a camping spot in Yosemite Valley. It’s a good distance from the Valley - 20 plus miles or a 35 minutes drive. However once you get there - it’s pretty nice. All the camping pitches are set in to the trees. All are fairly well spaced out and the campground is pretty tidy and peaceful. The toilet blocks are fairly standard but were clean. The staff were friendly, and on the whole it was a nice rustic Park Service campground to stay for a night. I probably wouldn’t want to stay for more than 2 nights just because it’s so far from the main attractions in Yosemite valley.

Pleasant clean camp ground

Nice campground. Some sites it is complex to find level areas for tent. One pit toilet near group sites and a flush toilet higher iup. The potable water could be a longer walk.

Nope: we 're were there sunday and yesterday night and there was nothing to say about the air
Each site has a campfire pit with a grate. No charcoal grills allowed. Groceries expensive in park. I would provision in Fresno or Sacramento if coming in from the West depending on your route.
Every car needs to be part of a reservation but there are some group parking spots for some of the sites. The reservation system should tell you the maximum number of cars per reserved site.
Yes, you have to drive to Yosemite Valley
When you make your reservation they block out the dates areas are closed. Happy camping, you're going to enjoy it!
Yes they accept RVs. On recreation.gov you can select the type of reservation (RV or tents), and it should list the maximum vehicle length and number of additional tents allowed in your campsite.
This is allowed as long as you stay within your campsite.
Assuming they are fully booked (if not just book online) you'd need to go to the camping office in the village, they re-allocate no shows each morning on a first come first serve basis
Yes, and you are required to use local firewood.
No, but if i drive back to the yosemite entrance i get a very weak signal enough to call but no data
