I have played at Soccer First for over 20 years and have left 5 star reviews in the past. It is inane that the mini fields are physically locked on league nights when no one is scheduled to use them. Warming up is a crucial element to playing soccer and we now have no space to warm up prior to a game. This is a selfish and shortsighted move by the ownership. Please reopen these fields and I will gladly amend my review.

I have been playing soccer at SF for many (25+) years and play in 40+ and 50+. I have always enjoyed playing there and the staff has been friendly and responsive. However, couple weeks ago, I noticed and much to my surprise and surprise of all, the small fields or other unused large fields all are locked up. If there is no game or practice session, these fields are all locked up. Now, there is no place to warm up and stretch before running. For those over 50, they understand it take little time to warm up and cannot just show up and play. Warming up and stretching on concrete is not practical not to mention hitting some balls. I hope Soccer First management/owner recognizes the risk with injury due to lack of proper and adequate warm up. I like to continue to play at SF and management will reconsider their decision.
