I haven’t had a library card since I was little and the system has improved SO much. The orange branch location is really beautiful and has a very wide selection of books. I’m really impressed by the website where I can place books on hold, from all over the district to be brought to my location. I love that I can keep up with my due dates, etc. It makes everything very convenient. :)

Hi Shirley, Actually, at this time, the libraries are open for browsing. Our hours have just changed a bit from what they previously were. We're now open MWFS 9 am-5pm, and T/Th 11am-7pm. We're closed on Sundays. You can also request books online. Just go ahead and request the books you'd like to check out as you usually would from our website, www.delawarelibrary.org, and then when you get your notification that they're ready for pickup, stop in, or drive through our pick-up window to get your books.
