Awesome library in a beautiful park with grass fields, shady trails, baseball courts, and more. The staff is nice, and the book and media selection is great! The architecture, albeit not as modern as Columbus Metropolitan Libraries, certainly fits in with the neighborhood and nature. The adults section is on the ground floor, and the children section is in the basement level. The children's space offers room and atmosphere that renders it very comfortable for a basement level. The library is a great destination for library-loving families and bookworms!

I have not visited the Lane Road Library for many years but had been there yesterday [9-20-2021] to meet with a group of Industrial Design students at The Ohio State University who had been interviewing a group of senior "about mobility as [we] age in Upper Arlington." I am a long-time and regular patron of the Upper Arlington Public Library; I always use their main library at 2800 Tremont Rd. because that library has a Reference Department [which is my main use of libraries] and because I can walk there in about fifteen minutes. I am glad that I had been able to spend some time yesterday at the Lane Road Library and to get to know a different library that is one of the three locations of the Upper Arlington Public Library system. One of the OSU Industrial Design students drove me to the Lane Road Library and back. I do not drive and otherwise would have had to use Uber to travel there and back. We had arrived early [so that the OSU students would be able to set up the meeting room] so I had half an hour or so to wander around that library and to take a few photographs for Google Maps. While browsing the Youth Department [in the basement], I learned several new-to-me terms [that had appeared on the bookshelves] that are now used to describe categories of children's books. My favorite feature of the Lane Road Library had been the three-dimensional "artwork display" that had been created by folding the pages of no-longer-needed books and then stacking those books on one of the tables.

Printing is currently limited to our Main Library, 2800 Tremont Rd. For more information, please see https://www.ualibrary.org/pages/mobile-printing
They're part of the same Columbus area group, a Columbus card can check out at UA libraries, and likewise Columbus libraries accept UA accounts, most materials can be interlibrary loaned between systems though some require pickup/return to a specific system, this also includes most of the area suburban libraries as well. Also good to note that an item from CML returned to UA (or vise versa) won't show as returned for your account until received by the home library system, which can be a few day delay - though it's not counted as late.
I would call the library. Get on their website.
