Called ahead for lunch to place a takeout order- they reqd a credit card and took my oven roasted chicken order ($19 on the lunch menu). Got there 15 mins later to be rung up for $30 which I corrected and then told that they didn’t have any chicken. The restaurant was empty. Not a soul. You didn’t know that when you rung it in while on the phone? Or did you not want to serve it at the price on the menu? They told me they could make me a burger instead, but I was now 40 mins into my lunch hour and just didn’t have the time. Embarrassing for them, very annoying for me.

Steak was amazing and cooked to perfection however our waitress was in a rush and very curt from the moment she greeted us, I didn't feel 'taken care of" that's for sure. Not sure if the restaurant was understaffed or she just needs to take her attitude to a restaurant more suitable to her demeanor.. like waffle house. Kinda a bummer, didn't expect that terrible style of service when I'm dining in a restaurant where my bill for a table of 6 was $800.

The beautiful architecture of their ceilings foreshadowed a wonderful overall experience. We ordered the “Tableside Torched Apple Manhattan” for one of our cocktails. The description said, “ A presentation to be remembered.” Unfortunately, it was remembered for the wrong reasons. No finesse and in the middle of it, the waiter had to go get a torch that actually worked. Not worth the $24. The calamari and crab cake were very satisfying and I absolutely would order these appetizers again. Now, for my Filet Mignon, it was cooked to perfection. This was the highlight of the evening. The sides (Mac+Cheese, Brussels, and mashed potato’s) were not anything to write home about. I also upgraded my steak with the Maxwell (lobster) style. That in itself was a little underwhelming. Overall, a lovely evening, classy environment, good steak and nice staff. Well done.
