My family was in town this evening and we decided to dine at McCormick & Schmick’s. I actually voted for Mitchell’s Ocean club. In the end, I honestly wish we would’ve just gone there because the service would’ve been a lot better and the food would’ve been amazing. When we arrived, there were plenty of open tables. The woman at the hostess stand told us that they were not accepting any new tables, unless we had a reservation. She stated this was due to them being short-staffed and pretty much turned us away. I was very upset by this, so I walked out, hopped on open table—and much like I predicted—was able to make a reservation for 6 for right then. When we walked back in, a different girl was at the hostess station who was very nice and immediately found and accepted our (just made) reservation. The previous hostess came flying across the room to inquire about what was going on. I stood there and looked her in the eyes as the new hostess explained that we had a reservation and that she was about to seat us. I chimed in and said, "you stated that you were only accepting reservations, so we made a reservation". I have to be honest, her response didn’t make any sense to us because it just sounded like she was trying to invent a reason for not accepting it before to cover her own a**. At this point, we weren’t interested in whatever reasoning or explanation she had to offer. Aside from that, the rest of our service was fine, minus a portion of my food arriving cold. They took the plate away and instead of remaking it, they simply warmed it and returned the exact same plate to me. And of course, it was the woman who initially declined to seat us that delivered my plate, which was even more unsettling. Overall, after spending $200+, I was disappointed that I didn’t dine at Mitchell’s Ocean Club instead. I will not be back, and especially not with family or out-of-town guests.

One of the best places to go for happy hour. I personally refuse to eat here unless it's happy hour bc the happy hour prices are just really good. For $9 you get a huge cheeseburger with fries, plus they have several other great fairly priced options... But if you're looking for a good cheeseburger this is where it's at. Outside of happy hour this place isn't really within my budget but the happy hour includes all kinds of great options for anywhere between $7-$11 plus the happy hour drinks don't disappoint bc at least in my several experiences they were strong and not watered down in any manner. Highly recommend the happy hour cheeseburger.

This honestly deserves not even one star, completely filthy. My first time coming and will never return. My son was provided a cup of lemonade in which 2 gnats were in just floating not to mention the gnats crawling along the table and plates. Just disgusting !!
