A/C didn't work. 90 for a 1 bed 2 people and a dog. I am updating my review today because I was there again and the hot water has been turned down and it ran out.

I've been here over three weeks and yet to see anyone come to clean my room although I even ask them to come and clean and still no results. This is more like an apartment instead of a hotel. All the people that are staying here actually permanently. The employees are rude when you have any questions.

Shady people living there. Newer rooms are decent and NO BUGS thats a plus ..but doesnt feel safe at night.

I am very late in writing this about the BLACK BART INN in San Andreas. My son rick, his lady friend and I (mom-chris) stayed for 6 days at the Inn following the Butte fire that destroyed our home last Sept. 2015. The staff allowed many families to keep their pets in the rooms (even though this was against policy). A lot of us had nowhere to take our pets. The rooms were kept clean and staff often asked us if we needed anything. For as many people that were there – I don’t recall a single incident (no overly loud people or problems occurring). One afternoon-Ken, the owner, himself cooked the entire motel guests a spaghetti dinner. I got a call letting me know there was a no-charge meal for all guests. They said I was welcome to come eat; but I explained I was kinda-shy about going alone to eat next door. The girl at the office offered to bring me a plate…which she did! Another night soon after, again Ken prepared everyone a chicken dinner complete with salad inviting the entire motel. It was all at his expense.
