If you are in the area with children, you should definitely come here. There is a lot to discover, play and try out. Prices are totally okay, there is parking around the corner and in front of the facility. Just try it!

This place was fun to take my 3 years old niece....not very big but has several items she loved to play on and explore. The only negative was the bubbles area had a mixture that didn't make bubbles at all, was disappointed because this could have added to my nieces experience there.

We visited LCDC while on a recent vacation trip with friends. We had children ranging from 2 to 16 and they all had an amazing time. We were so impressed with the amount of exhibits and that all were in great working order. There was an employee constantly walking through straightening the areas and making sure everything was tidy. My 8 year old especially loved the craft room where she was able to create a quick art project. The restrooms were super clean and attended to. The staff could not have been friendlier. We are so thankful we have this place a try for our rainy day activity. It did not disappoint.

Hi! Admission is $8 for ages 1-59, $7 for ages 60+, and military members are free with proper ID. If you're local to the Northshore, a membership is well worth it. We look forward to seeing you soon at the Louisiana Children's Discovery Center!
Hi Angel, Admission is $8.24 for children 1 year and up. It's the same for adults. Senior citizens 60+ admission is $7.21. And with a Military ID no charge. Looks to be $8.24 for indv's over 60 yrs old, same for anyone over 12 months old. From their website: General Admission: Adults - $8.24 Children (12 months - 59 years) - $8.24 0 months to 11 months - Free Seniors (60+) - $8.24
I'm not sure, but I think it is $8 per person....of any age. They don't have a one hour fee as far as I know. My 3 yo nephew was there 3 hours and cried when we had to leave. It has lots of great things for toddlers up.
I think it was 8 each, but if u go early u can leave and then go back in an play til closeing. The bracelet is good for all day.
