My appointment was for 9am and it’s nearly a whole hour later and they just saw their first person this am. I still still haven’t been seen and it’s 9:45. This is absolutely ridiculous.

Come into the office with your expired MS DL, social security card, birth cert and a proof of address from this year with your LA address on it (i.e. voter reg card, financial statement, utility bill) . bring two proofs if you want to get the federal driver's license. Make sure BC & SSCD doesn't have any initials. All full names.

I heard they taking payment plans to reinstate you license and if that's the case do you get them back while paying on them??

Yes the DMV on veterans a reinstatement office you can do it for sure their, not sure about Chamette location,I suggest calling Chalmette location and inquire about it,Also I highly recommend checking your paper work if you go to Chalmette location to make sure everything done correctly

The only birth certificate I have is from 63 years ago - it's black with white handwriting. It does not have a state seal (or at least if it did it's no longer visible). This will be my second visit so please confirm this doc is sufficient.

Proof of residence and if you had a car make sure you turned the plate in if you have any insurance blocks they won't give you a license. I would bring a birth certificate or some proof of identity if your license is expired it is not considered legal proof of identity
