Straight IGNORANCE! This goes for the staff and whoever it’s being ran by!

Third world countries have better water service. This city and it's services (or rather, lack thereof) are a joke. We moved here a few months ago and will be moving right back out immediately as we will not be sticking around to find out what it's like during a catastrophe since they can't even keep the water running on a good day.

I’ve lived in New Orleans my whole life. If I ever leave this city it will not be because of the crime, poor infrastructure, corruption, overly inflated rent and real estate prices, income inequality, or the poor education system. It will be because of the Sewerage and Water Board. I am literally in tears fighting with them over these outrageous water bills. My water was disconnected with zero notice while my account was in dispute. After making a payment arrangement it was still not turned back on. When I called customer service the day after making a payment, I was told the water had not been turned back on because I did not call to arrange it. Then, when I was finally able to get them to send someone out, I was in the back of my house when they supposedly came by and missed them. The time frame I had been given for them to come out was through 5pm. When I called customer service back after finding a notice on the door they said that the water could not be turned on until next business day and the reason given for this was that they do not turn water on after 3pm, even though the time frame I was given was through 5pm and it was 3:30pm when they had left the notice on my door. I asked to arrange for my water to be turned back on the next day and was told that they could not schedule it to be turned back on and that I would have to call back in the morning to request water. When I called customer service the next morning I was put on hold for ten minutes and then hung up on. I called back and my 11 minute wait time was actually 32 minutes. I was finally able to speak to someone and request water. Again, the time frame given was through 5pm. I confirmed it was 5pm, not 3pm and was told that, yes, water service is turned on through 5pm. So this tells me that I could’ve had water the day before, but they didn’t feel like doing it at the end of the day. My family was without water for days, including days after making a payment. I am now expecting an inflated and estimated water bill, because they do not read the meters, that I will not be able to afford and will have to dispute. I am sure when they “estimate” the bill, they will not take into consideration the 8 days we were without water. I love New Orleans and she will always hold a place in my heart, but the relationship has become so toxic, and I don’t know how much longer I can hold onto hope. The fact that our city leaders allow the Sewerage and Water Board to get away with their disregard for citizens is absolutely heartbreaking.

If I could give zero stars I would. You would think that a company with 424 reviews and 99% marked 1 star out of 5, that they would not get the contract again for the city of New Orleans. Keep voting for liberal corruption and then complaining on a review about how bad the water company is. Entergy is no different. Maybe you people commenting should review yourselves. 🤔

The seller is required to provide utilities for inspections.
Pay for parking in lot across the street, on curb side parking, which is still part to park.

Go online to there website and click job opportunities on the left side of the screen. Once u choose a position and apply they will ask u to bring in documents to their location in person. Hope that helps.
Get a blow torch or hair dryer out and defrost the pipes leading into the house.
The sewerage and water board does not provide your home with hot water. Hot water is made in your home by your own hot water heater. If you're not getting hot water i would check your hot water heater. (If you have gas, check the pilot light, if you have electric, check your fuse box)
