For the tag office: I’ve had multiple vehicles, both personal and commercial, registered, switched tags for one vehicle to another, ordered heavy tonnage tags, you name it. These ladies are pretty efficient at what they do! Even when I’ve had to wait in line, it’s never that long of a wait. For the DL office: I made my appointment online, brought in birth certificate, ss card, vehicle registration and electric bill, took my test and my picture, paid my fee and was on my way in about 40 minutes. All the ladies here were also knowledgeable and helpful in getting me accommodated and on with my life.

Not sure, I think they need like a power or utility bill. We used insurance card (had our address) and paperwork from buying a house. I think a rental contract would also work. Ladies there are so very kind and helpful. HONESTLY THE BEST DMV EXPERIENCE IN MY 56 YEARS! Practically no wait at all when we went.
Yes , the police can tell you if you have their driver's license number. Any other information on the person is helpful also.

They had at least a box of them yesterday but trying to take the CDL test in Picayune seems to be problem.

To change my regular dl to a MS dl. I needed 2 proofs of residence, Birth certificate, Social Security Card, and my previous license. From what I found on the internet you need all of that in addition to proof that you passed some cdl test.
