Went in there Thursday. Food was amazing and had the best waitress. Not only was she prompt on getting us our drinks and food she was as professional as you get. Will be coming back for sure and hope we see Jackie again. Would give more stars I had them so you'll get 5 stars and these 2 thumbs up👍🏻👍🏻.

The food and drinks were amazing but, more importantly, everyone in our group was commenting afterward on how knowledgeable, attentive, and charismatic all the waitstaff were. We had a very lively bunch and all our servers graciously joined in to make the night fun.

If I would have known I need to know the waitresses by name to be served I would have asked them the last time I was in there. Came in after working a 24 hr shift- hungry and tired and your waitress Mallory walked up to me with a menu and straight to her friends table with a menu & took their drink order. I had already been there for 10 mins before they even walked in the door. I knew exactly what i wanted. Would have even settled on just having a drink to tie me over while she played favorites

While in town for the day my wife was craving breakfast food. Thought to try Slingers for the first time as the reviews were overall good. The Slammers were good. The hash browns are ok, scrambled eggs didn’t have any seasoning so all we tasted was liquid eggs most likely poured from a carton, bacon was a great size but they place it under the gravy so you end up getting soggy bacon. For soggy bacon, it wasn’t bad. The star of the slammer was the gravy. Now I can’t wait to try their biscuits and gravy. It taste real and is really really good, like something someone would make at home if they didn’t make sausage gravy. The pancakes had that good diner taste. FYI the takeout box doesn’t come with syrup but I was heading to a house that had syrup so I wasn’t mad. The french toast also had that good diner taste. They weren’t overloaded with cinnamon or powered sugar. FYI they also didn’t come with syrup. I didn’t give 5 stars as it was good but at $30+ I’d wish for better hash browns, eggs and to include syrup (especially if I were going to a park to eat).
