One of my favorite places in the area. Quite we’ll kept park. One of the best places I found in the area to trout fish. This is the place I spend a good portion of my free time when I’m TDY to Ft. Leonard Wood. River is full of trout and Bass if you know where to look and don’t mind a little hike or getting wet.

We enjoyed visiting this park very interesting and informational. Beautiful clean clear water with the exception of people who had littered it. Trail of Tears information from when tribes spent one night on the Roubio River before continuing on the long hard trail ahead of them all the way to Oklahoma.

Nice little park tucked in downtown Waynesville. Good place for a walk or jog. Near by is a playground with a sidewalk that takes you directly to it. There is a small fishing platform on site that is even wheelchair accessible. This park is a spot to find trout and bass.
