Great Christian place. BUT.. there are some strict rules and when people come off the street there it's hard to follow super strict rules like they should lighten up a little. I remember the first time I was there like 8 years ago I was having a hard time with and on the street and I was running there to make my curfew and a Lockport city policeman literally held me up and yelled at me (I should say harassed me) for J WALKING so I missed the curfew by 2 minutes and they threw me out on the street! But I hear now it is a great place and great staff David Poole is a great man and is a saint in my eyes!

It's a great place . Many people can go to public library around the corner and use computers to look for jobs. Also they go to social services to get assistance. Lockport cares packs a lunch for the residents and allows them to come back for dinner
Not pots and pans or dishes but cleaning supplies, toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, shampoo etc. If you look at the website it will have a list of donations that are needed/accepted. I believe st John's takes household stuff.
Also you can sign up to provide a complete meal.
It was founded by area churches who saw a need.
