If I could I would give it 0 stars, the staff was 0 professional, rude and more with Latinos or Hispanics, New opp should change staff but NOW! They never answer phones and when they do answer they do so reluctantly and according to the majority they do not speak Spanish, almost all of them being Latino, if they do not like to help, this is not their job then...

Good Place to go to get help and other assistance that you need and the people that work in here is very good nice people they help us out a lot so anybody need help to go there

You can call them Monday through Friday. And food pantry is open almost every day or at least it was daily

The services offered at New opportunities are Case Management(Rental assistance- First Months Rent, Job training, health insurance, foods stamps, forclosure prevention etc). There are workshops such as money management offered(where they will help you to save towards a car, home or what ever goal you may have). Weatherization program(apply wether you rent or own). A fuel bank agency for Operation Fuel. Periodacle Ct Food Banks- Pop-up Mobile Pantry(a mobile pop-up which offers a variety of foods not available in-house). The food truck will be at New opportunities this Friday at 1:30pm (2/1/2019). Hope this helps! :)
There is a specific number to call for energy assistance don't know it off hand and also the income guidelines changed last year. They do have appointments available call the energy assistance number and select a date and time!!
