The hike in to Houghten Falls was beautiful... It was just missing one thing, the falls. Totally dry when we were there in mid July. Love that the path is about half paved with wood planks. This park's gate automatically closes at 6:00 p.m. Make sure you're in and out before then, you don't want to get locked in as there are steep fees to get out.

Nice short walk with pretty views. I would suggest getting there early or Later so you can find a parking spot.

What a gem this is. Great trail, nice views. I thought the falls would be closer to the shore of the lake, but they’re back a bit. Make the whole trip, though because the view is spectacular

It's about 60 feet falls. I'm not sure where the last poster was. The falls is about a mile from the road. It's a nice trail through the woods and ends at a great sandstone point.
