The atmosphere of the Mackinaws restaurant is the ultimate lodge experience from the lantern lighting to the taxidermy on the walls, and the warm feel of the fireplace. The wait staff is extraordinary and super friendly. We like the option to sit outside when weather allows, and of course, the food is great! We love the burgers and one of my favorites is the chicken quesdillas. Huge portion filled with deliciousness! They offer a wide range of appetizers, salads, burgers, steaks, pastas, seafood, salads and wraps and so much more all at an affordable price! There's even live music on Friday and Saturday when announced. Check them out!

This place is very Wisconsin! Lots of wood and brown and a very cozy feel. Wide ranging menu. We went with the chimichanga and the chicken pesto gnocchi, which were both good. Top notch cheese curds. Full bar with lots of beer and specialty drinks. Our waitress was terrific! The fireplace out front is a nice touch.

YES!! My daughter and I both have celiacs and we love eating at Mackinaws. We've never been sick after.
