This company is a scam artists or has really incompetent sales men that know nothing about boats and makes thing up. They sold us a Bimini that could be extended. The boat arrived and then were told that doesn’t exist and would not refund money. They also sold us a tow bar for tubing, and turns out you cant actual tow anything but skis we didn’t find this till later. Again company wouldn’t refund money for a useless item. Company now refuses to return any calls. We are out 1000’s of dollars and stuck with items that we cant use due to the lies this company told. They also try to get you to register your boat in South Carolina. Don’t do it, its not cheaper it maybe upfront but taxes are much higher. They will take your money then will not answer or return your calls when you have issues. If you have to do business with this company do your research and don’t trust any of the lies they tell.

I had to confirm on three separate occasions, over three months, the repair …Looks like we reduced the bill to satisfy your complaint. An estimate is just that, an estimate. So not sure why the 1-star? You have a 20 year old boat that we ordered parts and fix the problems, and the bill came in $200 more than estimated, and then we met you in the middle with a $100 adjustment off the bill. Again, not sure how we could have resolved the issue in a more professional manor? Good luck to you.

I am not thrilled with the Boat Rack’s service department. I left my boat with the service department with a short list of items to be serviced and to be quoted. I had to confirm on three separate occasions, over three months, the repair order and the items to be estimated. Once the work was completed, the final invoice for the service was about 30% higher than what was quoted. As a business owner, I consider that bad practice. The quoted amount should’ve been honored. I will be looking for an new shop to service my boat.
