I just moved to the area and was looking for a new mechanic. My old mechanic in Queens was amazing and would tell you before doing something whether it was about to cost a whole bunch of money, and I guess I got used to that kind of service. This place lost me as a customer immediately by 1) not stating cost upfront to check a battery 2) claiming that plugging in my car to check the battery was $50 worth of work; to drive it inside, turn the key and tell me something I already suspected. I hope they’re happy with that $50 because now I will never be back. Edit for owner response: it’s funny that the owner should say “we charge for all services provided as any business does” as I left here and went to Autozone where they do literally everything he quoted me for for free. I still saved $100 over your quote by leaving your shop, driving to Autozone and having them install a top of the line battery I bought there, *even after accounting for you gouging me for $50*. Obviously if I’d been smart enough never to visit you in the first place, it’d have been $150 cheaper than your quote. I also realized after writing my review that I’d researched and intended to visit “Westside Automotive”, your apparently superior, very similarly named competitor down the street (rated 4.7 stars on Google). When I typed it in Waze, it mistakenly directed me to you. Everyone be careful to ensure you don’t make the same mistake.

I am very satisfied with level of service for my nearly 20 yr old Infinity Q45 which had emissions issues. Not only they took care of the problem far below what the local Infinity Dealership (Stealership) wanted to charge, but they also went above and beyond and gave me a service bulletin about an issue that I didn't know was a free fix from the dealership. This honesty to the customer and not trying to take advantage of the situation sets this place apart. Super honest people.I really appreciated the honest prices and the overall honesty shown. Very refreshing
