Everyone here is very welcoming and very nice. Pitch in dinners and breakfast every weekend really bring the group together. Lots of activities to participate in if that's your thing, but also lots of privacy if that's what you want. Definitely plan to return.Thank you Mary! Hope to see you soon!

I emailed twice, asking for a return of payment. I finally filed a request with my bank to get a return of payment. I have heard nothing for a week. …Wow! That hurts, especially since you said you like it so much here. I think I should share my side of the story. I did not "insist" on payment up front. I stated it was standard practice here to pay upon check-in, as it is standard practice at campgrounds and most other businesses. It seems as though you left early because I had to talk to you about the comfort of your dog and our dog guidelines that you agreed to follow but did not. I know your dog was very uncomfortable and she shared that distress with the rest of us. I still let you stay with your dog even though you did not have a personal site as stated in the rules that you said you read and agreed by signature to follow. I thought you were pulling up to the office for your refund as you were leaving, but then you turned and quickly pulled out. Your refund of $38 is in process. We are a free will cooperative, so we keep our rates low, in turn most visitors give us extra money or forgo refunds when they have to leave early. I thought that is what you were doing. I also need to mention that you met a guy your age and seem to have a good time with him in the hot tub late into the night. I could hear you at the other end of the camp after quiet hours. I let it go because I was the only one you were keeping awake and it seemed like you were having such a good time that I didn't want to get in the way. There is not a "no smoking" sign on the pool deck. There is a sign that says "no drinking or smoking in the pool". There is plenty of space in the pool area. I saw you got plenty of pool time, mostly by yourself, since you were here during the week. I also let you tie your dog to the pool deck in the common area while you were swimming, even though she was not happy, and it is against our rules that you said you would follow. We have been working very hard here to make it a place for all ages. The day you were here the average age of our visitors was about 40. You should visit on a weekend and you'll see even more of all ages. I hope that here or anywhere you go you could just please ask for your refund instead of making a undeserved bad review. I really go to great lengths to make sure everyone here enjoys their visit and our good reviews reflect that. I am sorry you felt you needed to leave a bad review and I will work hard to make sure others don't find themselves in the same place.
