Richwood is a very special place and was perfect for our women's retreat. I felt so welcomed by the staff and surroundings. Everything about it invites peace and there were spaces for community, small groups and partners, and solitude. Everything was well kept and clean, but best of all it was like being welcomed into the home of a dear friend. I will definitely be back!

We’re glad our daughter chose Richwood on the River for her recent wedding. Words cannot express how impressed we were with Colleen and her staff. Her attention to every detail such as a timeline of the day made sure everything was on schedule. She was in contact with all of the vendors for the day so everyone was on the same page. Colleen had to be out of town for part of our weekend. Kelsey stepped right in and didn’t miss a beat during set up or the wedding and reception. Colleen and her staff went above and beyond to make the entire weekend stress free by handling all the little details and even some things that we thought we would have to take care of. All of our guests were very complimentary of the beautiful setting. The wedding party and family of the groom were pleased with their stay as well. Thank you for making our daughter and son- in-law’s day so amazing!

I got married here and it was even more beautiful than I thought it would be.... The venue itself is absolutely amazing and the rooms are individually unique. The venue owner colleen made sure that all the requests I had were met. Her and her staff made my weekend go extremely smooth. If you're looking for a getaway right around the corner, that you can have your entire wedding party and family stay for the weekend then this is definitely the spot!!!!! Another thing that made me love this place so much is that my dog was able to run freely

Richwood on the River hosted our wedding weekend! We dreamed of a full weekend with our bridal party at an beautiful venue where no one had to leave once they showed up. We got that and more. Richwood is the absolute perfect wedding venue! Colleen and Kelsey were awesome to work with, answering all our questions big or small, morning or night. And on the day of the wedding they did not stop working, despite the (very hot) heat. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and DOG FRIENDLY. The mansion rooms were perfect for our guests who appreciate the history of the place and the cabins were spot-on for our bridal party and the young families staying with us. They have great recommendations for vendors, everything from flowers to food to photography. The staff were kind, helpful, and accommodating. We really did feel like it was ours for the weekend. The kids played in the pool, we played corn hole in the yard, and had breakfast in the mansion every morning. It was everything we wanted and we don’t even know all the things they did behind the scenes. For example, we held our rehearsal dinner on Friday with a completely different setup and linens (provided by the venue) from Saturday and the staff had it completely flipped for us to have plenty of time to reset the tables Saturday. They made our dream come true down to the smallest details we discussed during planning meetings. We can’t say enough about the small things like Kelsey repeatedly bringing water to the bride during rehearsal and keeping things moving. I HIGHLY recommend Richwood on the River as a wedding venue if you are looking for an indoor/outdoor venue with accommodations.
