Was a part of the Daniel Boone Day this year and cooked in Tatum Cabin during the day. Beautiful scenery, perfect weather and sweet people to volunteer with.

Wonderful tour guide. Super knowledgeable and a fun place to visit

Picturesque. Found by chance in off season but based on the optics I commend the owner on such a layout.

Hello and thank you for reaching out. The cabins are spaced apart a wee bit with the longest distance between them being about 100 yards. If you have more questions you can call us at 828-264-2120. Thank you again and we hope you have a great day.
Thank you for asking about our Hickory Ridge History Museum. The museum usually closes on the second weekend in November. Because we are in the mountains, and out museum cabins are authentic 18th and 19th century cabins set around a wooded park, the weather is usually too cold for our tours. The museum opens again in mid-April.
Hello, Nina. Thank you for contacting us. Yes, you can go to the museum before the show. The museum is open from 10:00 AM until 7:30 PM. It is located on the Horn grounds. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Wendy Volunteer
Presently, during the November and December holiday season, the museum is on a limited schedule: the week of Thanksgiving it is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 11 to 2. Until Christmas it is open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 11 to 2. The regular season will start back on April 13, 2021. horninthewest.com for more information. Come visit.
For the Living history museum it costs $5 per Adult and $3 per child ages 5-12. For the Horn in the west show, the general admission costs $20 for Adults, $17 for College Students, and $15 for children ages 5-12. If you wanted assigned seating, the prices are Adults $30, Students $27, Children $20. VIP seating is $45 for Adults and Students, and $25 for Children.
It costs with money. That green stuff, in your wallet.
Yes, the museum is pet friendly if the dog is friendly, on a leash, and if the owner will clean up any "deposits" if necessary.
The outdoor drama is if you call the ticket office to make arrangements. The drama's 2021 season is still in the planning stage. The Hickory Ridge History Museum is a series of historic cabins set in a hilly park which makes it a challenge for handicap accessibility. I suggest you call the office at 828-264-2120 for more information.
