We really wanted to love this family-run business, but it seems they are just going to run it into the ground. We rented the cabin and both air beds had holes in them and were unusable. We woke up to countless cockroaches and flies in the room. The A/C barely kept up. We had to clean the cabin ourselves before using it. Sitting outside, you are literally eating on the picnic table next to an above ground sewage tank. The hand soap had been empty in the men's room our entire stay, and the bathroom/shower facility had not been cleaned in God knows how long. I know it sounds like we are complaining, but the basics were just not there for us to return. I'd suggest looking elsewhere.

A fantastic camp ground, we absolutely loved our stay! The locals who frequent there were super friendly and invited us to hang out with them. Such a great experience! The view is so chill and it's so nice and quiet out there. Definitely going to be coming back here next year :) Bathrooms could use an upgrade.

We needed a place close to the ferry launch and this was a short 20 minute drive. Campground is rustic and worn but had all the necessities for a quick overnite. Would stay there again to fish or gather clams, oysters!! Very friendly and helpful staff. Our visit was one night in late June 2019.

Visited the area recently; 18 days after Hurricane Florence and ended up needing to stay overnight. There were no hotel rooms anywhere when I a friend of a friend arranged for me to stay in the cabin. It was a delightful experience. Would highly recommend.

This campground has primitive sites, no electricity or water, as well as sites with hook ups. The primitive sites are along the water and has somewhat easy access for boats.

It looked good last weekend. Should be ready by next weekend if the rain hasnt messed up getting the county to inspect it.
