I walked into the store looking to buy an iPhone. It was a little crowded mid-day Friday. Nobody greeted me, asked me to sign in or acknowledge my existence. Asked an employee if I needed an appointment, he said no just check-in with the manager. Went to the manager and she said "You need an appointment." When we said one of the employees said we might not, she got defensive and rude. "Well, you can stand around for 2 hours or come next week." Welp, guess I won't have to worry about ever coming back. Going to the Apple Store.

I just witnessed a maskless sick employee walking around the store interacting with customers and telling other employees that he has to go home because he feels sick. Maybe management should be less indifferent about the safety of their employees and customers and require he should at least put a mask on (keep in mind the CDC guidelines are that people with presumed covid should wear masks when interacting with others). I have an immunodeficiency and could die if I get covid, but I was required to pick up a new SIM card in person around their maskless, indifferent staff. They refused to make any accommodation for me. Actually, when I scheduled my appointment I provided specific instructions that the staff should wear masks due to my condition, but obviously they weren’t. I walked out of here as quickly as I could. Don’t go here unless you want covid or some other illness. I’m sure I’ll get some generic form reply from the owner saying something like “we’re sorry we didn’t provide you with the level of safety you prefer, we hope you’ll give us another chance” — but keep in mind these always lack details of any specific action or changes that the owner will make (because they probably won’t make any changes to protect public health or bring their behavior in line with CDC recommendations). I won’t be giving them another chance to make me sick. If you are serious about covid, I’d recommend you do the same and skip this place. They don’t care about the health of their customers or immunocompromised people, only profits. EDIT: In regards to the owner’s predictably noncommittal reply, I’ve already told you everything you need to know and have nothing more to say. You know what the problem is and what to do to correct it. I have no desire to give you any of my personal contact information.

3 hour+ waits, special treatment for certain customers. Diligent sales personnel that will try to sell you every accessory in the store twice. While explaining in gorey detail the difference in USB chargers.

Sales center is clean and organized, staff is courteous. I think they (Verizon) could change their philosophy a tad and develop an approach with customers where they realize that their devices that are designed in a planned obsolescent format, are not cheap, and they aren't doing any favors selling what has become a necessity to daily life. While we've been loyal for many years and will stay that way, we never come away happy or excited, only satisfied at a very pedestrian level...
