$30.000 for an lpn program is an absolute rip off!!! Go to a community college and forget these people. They don’t want you to pass if they say there is tutoring (DONT BE FOOLED) it doesn’t happen. Furthermore the staff is rude they will be nice to you just to be able to get your money after that they change their humor. If you want to be a real nurse don’t go here Update: to the response that they gave me, your program is a ripoff and the fact of the matter is students can go to an (ACCREDITED) program for much LESS students want to go from practical nurses (LPNs) to RNs why make debt more of a problem?

I’m currently a student at Lincoln Tech. First of,I was devastated when I read the reviews on here before attending but later decided giving it a try. I will say this, the school is not for everyone. I been in the CNST program and Ms. Noel and Mr. Akume are knowledgeable. In my session we had students coming in class with headphones,or probably making coming in late and when asked why they’re late, they behave rude. If you can’t stand the heat, get outta the kitchen. Can’t wait to graduate in November. Nice school and nice people.

I actually did not get a chance to even start the LPN program. I literally went for Pre- Orientation & the staff are the rudest people I have come in contact with! I had a general question about my the scrubs that THE STUDENT pay for out of our financial aid (which is not free) not fitting me correctly. I asked if I was to pay for my own scrubs, will I be refunded. That started a whole war!!! Karl the director is very upfront & disrespectful for no reason! He told me that I had to deal with the scrubs no matter what & there was no way they was refunding me for anything!!! He actually laughed in my face & told me that he didn’t know why I even approached him with that question!!!! I asked other staff the same question & everyone just dismissed me!! I never seen such disrespect from a group of suppose to be professionals. I trashed my orientation documents that were given to me 15minutes prior & got out of that place as quick as possible! If a simple question can get the staff to come out of character imagine if I had a problem with my grades or anything major, I didn’t want to stick around and find that out!!!! Don’t waste your $32,000 at this place! RUNNNNNNN It’s plenty more programs that will treat you with respect!

There are many immigrant students that have graduated from Lincoln Tech. The primary obstacle for an immigrant student is that you must be able to show proof of high school graduation from your country, or GED in the U.S. The best thing to do is call the school and set-up an appointment with someone from the Admissions department to discuss the programs and requirements.
