The shoes are expensive. They have no woman's wide sizes. None!! The staff was unknowledgeable. When I asked the only employee I could find about the wide sizes he had to call the manager on his walkie talkie. How could the employee not know that? Am I the only person in the world looking for wide shoes?

Customer service is always so good here that I've become a loyal customer of a shoe store relatively late in life. Today, my son desperately wanted a specific type of shoe. He found the exact shoe at Shoe Carnival and, after trying them on, realized his size wasn't available. He didn't want to wait to have it shipped, and the website thought it was in stock at this store. Both an employee and manager checked for it, without me needing to ask for that, in case it had been overlooked or mis-shelved. They agreed it wasn't there, and looked up the nearest stores with it in stock. That was good, but what was great was that they didn't want me heading out to another site where that size might be missing. I said I could call there. The manager instead said he'd call so that he could be sure they checked it was really there and put it on hold for me for a few days. The Joliet store employees don't tally a sale for that work, but they create customer loyalty for both this location and the chain. I sure hope there's a way to track that kind of customer service so corporate knows that the Joliet Shoe Carnival is doing something very right at a time when it must be hard to retain good employees like these.

I arrived shortly after 8pm on Thursday evening June 2, 2022 I found several items that I was interested in so I immediately asked for help..bad idea! Clearly he wasn’t in the mood to assist customers. Nevertheless my husband & I proceeded to the register to complete our transaction & was greeted with a “hello” from Ms. Sunny. I immediately told her that out of about four of her colleagues on the sales floor she was the only one that actually spoke. Ms. Sunny asked if we had a phone number or email address for rewards I said no & the young lady quickly said “you can get coupon”. The nerve of her! If she was the manager she should’ve apologize for the experience I had at her store. It’s very concerning that the employees didn‘t even have the common courtesy to speak to guests & help when needed. First & last time shopping at this location. FIVE STARS FOR MS. SUNNY!!!!!! Thank you for providing great service & I’m sure another company would love to have her apart of their team!

Good clearance items i got cheap but great quality.. shopping was quiet and not to busy. Which was nice.
