After weeks of investigating and reading about in-ground pools, researching concrete vs fiberglass, including having an in-home appointment with a concrete pool contractor, and talking to owners of both fiberglass and concrete pool owners that we knew, we decided to go with a fiberglass pool. I then spent hours investigating fiberglass manufacturers. And area fiberglass pool installers. Needless to say, I became an educated consumer. After much research, reading every review out there, positive and negative with owner responses, and contacting several installers, we decided to go with Ordini's. They have been very patient. During my investigative process I called three times, and was able to get a "live person" each time. I sent three follow-up emails, which were answered promptly. We just signed the contract on Saturday, and couldn't be any happier or more comfortable with our decision. During each interaction, whether phone or email or in-person, every staff person was professional and courteous. The information was honest and accurate. No hard sell. No trying to upgrade/upsell us with what we didn't need. Even when we were there, in the office, contract written, payment in hand, disappointed that there was no guarantee of a 2022 install, were they anything less than forthcoming that it is very unlikely. And how long it would be for concrete, etc. They didn't hedge. They didn't wait until after we handed over our deposit. They were very nice, and up-front in their answer to every question we had. And honest enough to tall us that it could be three months or more before we heard anything from them once we signed a contract. When we were at their Bristol location we met with Tom, Chuck, the owner, (and his cute dog), Hector, and others. During the two hours approximately that we were there, I watched other customers go in and out. Heard staff talk in-person with customers and prospective customers that called. It was very obvious that this is their busy season (and very possible that there was no slow down from their busy season last year), yet they were courteous to every person that walked in or called. Being in a service industry, I understand how difficult remaining courteous and professional can be, especially with staff shortages, longer lead times on supplies, and many people wanting things now. Being customer service focused has to be a way you do business to maintain it repeatedly....and they did, for the weeks I was doing my investigation, reaching out to them with questions (when they didn't know if I was a "serious buyer"), to our in-person visit, and to all the calls and other customers they interacted with. We may be waiting a year for our pool (which my hubby says is partially my fault for waiting this long to be ready to move forward), but we are confident Ordini's is worth the wait, and look forward to the installation of the pool when it is our turn. I will update you as the project progresses.....

Hey Robert...thx for the comments. As for aboveground pools, yes we do sell them but our supplier is very close to being completely out of material so this year might be tough to get one. Our installer should go there without a problem...it is sub contracted though. Let me know your thoughts. Chuck
