I've been going there over 8 years and I love it. The people are great, the horses are friendly. The owner is always willing to help. The horses are treated like family members! I would recommend it to anyone who truly loves horses and wants to learn more about them.

Beautiful people, beautiful horses, beautiful place. There is this old Polish saying about such people, that "you can steal horses with them" :) But HCR do not steal - they rescue horses! ... and organize awesome summer camps for kids! Love the place.

My girl have been having lessons there for over a year and absolutely love it! The horses are taken care very nicely and Ms Jill, who’s been teaching her, is nice and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place. They will not teach competition jumps and other things for competition (I am not even aware of right terms) as they explain to me right in the first day, but that’s not our goal. It’s a beautiful place and right in the city which is a plus for my busy schedule.

Questions & Answers

I just want to ride a horse for a little while. I don't need lessons or a camp. Is that something I can do with you?

Hi Ross, I am sorry we do not provide that service. We offer month to month leasing and group rides (parties) in addition to lessons, camps, and boarding.

Do y’all pervide horses or do we have to buy our own? And how much does it cost to rent a stable?

The owner has some horses you can ride, but if you buy your own, a stable is about 400 a month i believe, and you buy your own food. If you ride the owner's horses, she pays for the food and medication. There is also a thing called leasing a horse where you pay a certain amount every month to ride whenever you want, and she will still care for it. Hope this helps!
