Don't know if you want to pair another fish with the Beta because they're aggressive toward other fish, but if your talking about a snail like a Nerite, or the such it would be ok.

No idea know. I want there and I didn't buy fish, but they have big selection of fresh and salt water fish and a bunch of hardscape material. You can call from them and ask then.

I think the best thing you can do is call the store. They can tell you specifically what fish and other things they carry. I've been there to buy fish food and they were really couteous and helpful.

No sure about tank prices but i love the prices of their fish.
