I highly recommend Thermal Valley Hang Gliding. You only turn 50 once. My sister, niece and I went hang gliding while three of my close friends cheered us on from the ground. This is a family-owned operation where you’re given personal service. Craig, his wife, and two kids are fabulous. This upbeat family is a pleasure. Craig just so happens to sound like Matthew McConaughey and he treated me like I was his best customer ever. Heck, maybe I was. Lol. Words can’t describe how exciting this adventure was. I liked it better than sky diving. The mountainous views were gorgeous. There’s speed and peace all in one. It was scary and exhilarating. We went into a cloud. I even let Craig do some spins. I may have been calling out the name of Jesus most of the time though, but I pray all the time so that’s normal. This was the adrenaline rush I was in search of for my milestone bday. I want to go again and again!

Prices start at $159 plus 6% booking fee for 1500 foot above ground flight. Higher flights are available when you come fly. If conditions allow.
I think it was $40 for a video. Then you can take screenshots from it to create pics. That’s what I did. The owners are friendly. You can call them with any questions.
No really set hours. You would need to make online reservation required at https://thermalvalley.net/ 24-hour advance. The weather and the wind play big part in weather you can fly. Which is why you need to give notice so can my sure you have the best and safest experience. They appear to do them on Fridays through Sundays. Note their are Weight limit applies. Flyers must be between 90 and 235 pounds. My husband just went and he really in enjoyed it. Really wonderful people.
