The furnace will not operate if the thermostat is faulty. The thermostat is the nerve center of your home heating system. It's the main control point that determines when and how much heat will be delivered by the furnace.

The filter size and air flow arrow are printed on the outside edge of the air filter. Replacement is as simple as removing the old, dirty filter from the filter cabinet or return ductwork and replacing it with the new filter. The air flow arrow should be pointing at the furnace or air handler. Filters can be purchased at a local home improvement store such as Home Depot or ordered online.
Typically thermostats take either AA or AAA batteries, location may vary depending on model. Clients can call the Horizon Tech line for advice on how to change batteries.
The $79.50 dispatch fee covers getting a qualified technician to the home in a fully stocked truck to provide an accurate diagnosis and/or repair for your convenience.
