I’m hiking the Appalachian Trail so I don’t have access to a car. The lady from this rescue drove to me to pick up a baby robin I found on the ground on a super hot day. She was very nice on the phone and gave me instructions for giving the bird some water while I waited for her. I was worried that the rescue would only accept raptors or endangered birds but she treated this little guy like he mattered too. Thank you <3

Only place I could find open and able to take in baby birds late in the day. Their tree was cut down, and because of avian wildlife center's flexibility with hours, the little ones have a chance! Can't say enough good things about them! Thank you!!

Yesterday I brought the second injured bird, I have come across, to this sanctuary. I’m so glad that this exists close enough to me, that I’m able to give these guys a chance at living!

If you find a bird that has been injured, call them for help or advise. What they do there is truly amazing. They help injured birds and release them back into the wild.

Unfortunately there's nothing you can do yourself. If you are willing to expend the money, take him to a vet. Otherwise take him to a wildlife shelter.

I have a cage larger than most people have on wheels do they take them
