Magnus was prompt to come to see the bathroom we wanted remodeled and prompt to get back an estimate. He helped us to make decisions and provided suggestions for materials which met our requirements. When problems were uncovered in the demolition process he was quick to suggest workarounds. His work was faultless. We were lucky to have his assistant Patt there to translate and follow up for us in so many ways during the process leaving him to do the construction work. Feminine touch smoothed over communication between us.

We recently had our kitchen upgraded by Magnus of Edgewater Kitchens and are over the top pleased with the outcome. Starting from the beginning and working with our budget he had great ideas and helped making selections, was respectful for working with the budget and not having to demo total kitchen was able to use saved money for extra items such as tile backsplash, all new lighting, dressing up the old cabinets and so much more. His workmanship is exceptional. Very meticulous very conscienctious to details. Work area was always cleaned at end of the day. Magnus was a pleasure to have in our home. It was a pleasure to have him here. Always felt very confident on how kitchen was coming along. If you are planning a home improvement I would seriously suggest that you give him a chance. We are so over the top pleased and am sure you will be too. We are so grateful and thankful for a great job. Two very happy customers.

Whether you’re considering a full roof replacement or want to buy upgrades for your current roof, making the switch to cool roofing can be a solid investment. There are various methods and types used to create cool roofing for energy-efficient homes: Green roofs: Green roofs incorporate rooftop plants. This vegetation forms a barrier, helping reduce the amount of heat that flows into the building. Green roofs work best on urban buildings that have flat or shallow-pit roofs. Reflective coating: Homeowners can transform their current roofing system into a cool roof with solar reflective coatings. These coatings are designed to reflect sunlight, helping to extend your current roof’s lifespan and stop the growth of algae and fungus. Tile roofs: If you have tile roofs, they’re likely composed of concrete, clay, or slate. Some of these materials are naturally reflective enough to meet the standards for cool roofing, and surface treatments can help tiles achieve this status. Metal roofing

What Are the Benefits of a Cool Roof?

Almost 90 percent of the roofs in the U.S. are dark-colored. The surface of these black roofs can increase in temperature by more than 100°F, leading to a hotter home, increased use of cooling systems, and a shorter lifespan for your roofing materials. Cool roofs are designed to reduce these effects. Cool roofing systems help reflect the sun’s rays, which in turn reduces heat transfer to your home. Cool roofs provide advantages for more than a single home; these advanced systems can help reduce local air temperatures in areas that have become too hot, often referred to as the Urban Heat Island Effect.
