Upon entering had to find the kitchen to locate staff however even so all was soon forgiven! Bridgette, my server was warm and attentive and provided exemplary service. The restaurant felt like a very old German biergarten as it should. Clean. Lots of memorabilia on the walls . She served a complimentary dark bread and white fresh combo that appeared to be 2 loaves freshly baked together.. firm exterior with a soft multi grain interior...superb! Next I had Mushrooms in sauce perfectly cooked . They were delicious! Some of the best mushrooms Ive ever had the pleasure of eating. Then came Fritters of sausage,saurkraut and sour cream w a mustard sauce for dipping. Bold and full of flavor! The Potato soup was very finely mixed w carrots and herbs and had an amazing aroma however it needed a touch ofsalt. The entre was a nicely portioned Jagerschnitzel with a superbly seasoned crust and a rich mushroom gravy as well as a tender succulent center.The potato salad was sublime.. flavors of vinegar and bits of bacon and herbs Truly a hidden culinary treasure! Highly recommended !!
