We stayed at nearby Mendota Lake Inn. The host recommended Hone so we walked over for a bite. We stayed late, enjoying the service and the bourbon selection. We returned the following night for drinks. This was last summer and I find myself trying to make a reason to travel back. We loved Hone that much. ❤️

Amazing food. So much flavor in every bite. And the staff is very friendly and helpful and happy to explain all the good stuff on the menu. A half mile walk from the capitol building and absolutely worth it!

Very friendly staff and surprisingly decent food. Also I can’t really tell what exact type of restaurant it is from its menu ( they have budae jigae and strip steak on the same menu). I don’t know if it can be considered a fusion …

Hi Randi! Thanks for the question. So far all of our items are or can be done gluten free. We do sometimes fry glutinous items, and we do have gluten in our kitchen. However, as of this writing everything except out lefse is gluten free. We do enjoy working with in peoples requirements, so please let us know if we can accommodate your dietary needs. If we know a week in advance we can set our orders to meet your dietary requirements if they are more complex, and will accommodate as we can day of. Sometimes the experimentation leads to wonderful new tastes. So don't be afraid to ask.
