If you’re in need of immediate medical attention, do not go to Cape Fear Valley ER. When I arrived, I was immediately triaged just to wait for 8-hours and never being seen. During my wait, no one cleaned the common areas. What’s the protocol?

Hands down the worst emergency room I have ever been to. Sat in the waiting room for 6 hours and was never seen. When asking for a update they give you none and just tell you "I've seen people who waited way longer than you" spoke to patients who had been there since 8 am and never saw a doctor. They do not care about you and rather have you wait till you give up and leave. I will never go there again. Your literally risking your life waiting for the staff to care smh. 1.8 rating is too generous

Brought my mom here because she had chest pains. 5 hours and still havn't been seen. Wouldn't let me wait with her, I had to sit in my car. Some people have been here since 7 AM and still haven't been seen. I'm writing this at 2:15 PM.

Took my husband to the ER Saturday around 3 with chest pains, nausea, and back pain. He sat in the waiting room (I had to sit in my car) until 9:15 that night when I finally went in and requested they get him. PLEASE, PLEASE take yourself or your loved ones to First Health in Raeford. They are top notch and were immediately able to get in him and admitted for a heart attack. Cape Fear isn’t the only hospital to choose from.

I don't know but I have had to sit there over night. A lady passed out and the nurse didn't stop her from falling and she hit her head and she said her head was hurting and she think she hit her head and the nurse said she didn't hit her head. I saw it all. People have died here and sisn't need to.
Oh, I'm sure there is. Go to Cape Fear in Hoke Co.
You get tylenol while waiting until you go to the back to your room.
What did you want them to do? There's no cure for a cold. Just get OTC cold medicine for both night and day time, rest as much as possible (don't miss work), don't drink alcohol, eat healthy, etc... How do you think a cold is an emergency? Idiot.
