Buying counter is always closed. Maybe if they paid a living wage and could keep staff they could afford to have people behind the counter who could buy items and keep the actual consignment/resale part of this business running. I don’t see this place staying around much longer. What’s the point in cleaning up and folding all your items in a tote, lugging it up there, just to see a sign on the door that they aren’t buying today due to being short staffed? I’m all supportive of shrugging off the low amounts you get for clothing, the place has to run a business, but it can’t even run a business when it’s not buying clothing.

I went here the other day and I was a little nervous since the reviews are somewhat questionable. BUT I had a perfectly fine experience. The store was well stocked, the prices were very fair and the workers were attentive. The cashier even put up with me while I juggled holding my 6 month old and paying my tab. If I need something specific in the future I will definitely come here to look first.

The store is very well put together and organized. Customer service is a -0. When I walked in almost everyone looked at me dead in my face especially Monica and no one greeted me nor spoke. I've been shopping at Once Upon for years and I've never received such lack of customer service. Also the many stores I've shopped at were sticklers for what the accepted and put out on the floor . I noticed it at check out and I asked Monica if she could use a lint brush to take all the dog hair off of the sweatshirt I was purchasing and she rolled her eyes and started whispering to her coworkers. When she gave me my receipt she didn't wish me to have a nice day or anything lol. I always leave reviews whether it's positive or negative and this experience was most definitely a NEGATIVE! UPDATE: You do see this store response lol and I’m positive this why the employees conducted themselves in such a poor manner with a lead like this lol. Please make sure you scroll down to see MANY of the poor reviews they received and their responses lol!
