Was only here for a funeral but.. I will tell you what I do know! Being raised up in "another" Baptist Church, this Church Canaan has been here for as long as I can remember. We as kids, were able to choose a Church (upon driving age 16) to attend. It did not matter what Church, as long as we attended a Church of our choice! What wonderful parents we had, wow! Anyway.. One of my brothers, choose this Church & he loved it. Now mind you, I'm sure the ppl & pastors have changed, because that's been many years past. But the Church is still thriving to date! One of my friends now, attends this Church & she loves it. So as Baptist, this Church must be doing something right, the right way.. And still standing the test of time!

This church has a heart for preaching the true word of God! (KJV) based and the pastor here is an extremely good teacher and preacher of the word of God. He allows new preachers to share his pulpit for learning purposes and sharing Gods word. Great church with great and very friendly people!
