WOW! An oasis in the middle of the desolate death valley. A lap of luxury. Beautifully designed, updated and superbly maintained. It was an absolute pleasure to stay at this facility. Rooms are dated, but still well maintained. The swimming pool and adjoining gardens are like stepping into paradise. I can't imagine the amount of work that goes into maintaining the resort. The restaurant serves delicious dinners. My only complaint is the breakfast served. A decent hot breakfast would certainly elevate this facility towards 5 stars.

I’ve heard great things about the hotel, the first impression was great!!! But when I stepped into my room, it was somewhat disappointment, it was a “hillside” room, all you see is gravels right in front of the window. Joe at the front desk gave us upgrade to oasis view room, he is a very nice person, i kept thinking about the whole day that he made my day much brighter, made my stay much more pleasant, I felt in my heart that he would try anything positive to make the customers happy ;-) The other lady at the front desk was not too pleasant unfortunately. Overall the property is beautiful and unique. The hillside rooms need to be in a separate category with a special rate, if I had known it was just $20-30 difference, I would never had booked the hillside room. Or I don’t wanna be the person who got assigned to the hillside room, I don’t know how the room assignments works in this hotel…

We did not stay at the Inn but we had dinner at the Inn last night. To say the meal was a disappointment is an understatement. There were four of us: one had the pasta primavera which he stated was really spicy, two had the crab cakes and I had the halibut. The crab cakes were cool and not cooked in the middle. She could only eat one of her crab cakes. The other crab cake diner stated his cakes were cool. My halibut was very cool and over done. I had to use a butter knife to cut the fish and I could only eat half of my dinner as it continued to get cooler and tougher. This is not how a piece of halibut should be prepared. At a price of over $60 for the halibut you should expect better. What a shame as the place is beautiful but we will not be back nor will we offer good reviews to any of our friends. Shame on us for not saying anything to our waiter but the amount of food leftover on our plates should have been a clue to the waiter. He did not even ask if we wanted to take it with us so maybe he does have a clue. I must say the salads were good as was the bread basket.

The room was expensive, but clean and nice. Priced for the location. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The reason for the one star is because the food was not good. They have a 4 diamond rating from AAA. Not quite sure how they got that rating. The best thing on their menu for breakfast was the continental breakfast with lots of berries and their delicious date bread. The coffee was very weak. The eggs were cooked in a lot of oil. The best thing on the dinner menu was the caprese salad. The food was priced inappropriately to the quality.

Yes,
I suggest that you contact The Oasis directly. Animal policices will probably be enforced. Prepare in advance and be aware of the temperatures. During my three day stay I observed no pets. Since this us in a State/Federal Park, I believe that they would set the standard.
7 am to 10 pm at Ranch pool.
On the local website on about the 3rd page. A bear to find.
I would go online and see what is happening
We stayed a few weeks ago. They are renovating but in blocks so still cabins to stay in. We weren't disturbed by any building works/noise.
