High pressure Went to summerville ford to look for a new car. Gave them my key to look at a trade in value. Found a car i liked at 40k on the sticker price. They accidentally put the wrong vin in to figure the price according to the sales manager. When they gave me the total with trade in value it was nearly 46k and nearly $800 a monthI told them no way i am paying that give me my keys back. They refused multiple times to give them back and i felt like i was trapped. I finally said ok to a lower offer and started doing a little bit of the paperwork. I told them i had to goto the bathroom. I went and thought for a bit of how to get out of there. When i went back i saw my keys on the salesmans desk. I grabbed them, ran to my car and left as fast as i could. NEVER GO TO SUMMERVILLE FORD

Do NOT recommend buying any fords. I went to take my car in for a door latch repair due to a RECALL. Was told that it would take at most 2 days for the repair. They did NOT have any loaner cars on hand and basically told me that I HAD to go get a rental for the repair. Repair ended up taking a WEEK instead of 2 days of which I had to keep renting a car the ENTIRE time and PAYING for it. So essentially because of a defect in their cars, we STILL have to pay to get it repaired even when its recalled Essentially they DO NOT CARE about their customers after you buy the car. Pretty much ANY other make works with you during recall repairs but apparently not ford. Save yourself the trouble and just dont buy a ford.

Summerville Ford is the absolute best! Amber Hudson is amazing! She was patient, stayed on top of tracking my truck and is just wonderful! During the initial buying process she was not pushy, which made the experience even better! Absolutely terrible service department. Took my car in for a recall repair--a door latch and a brake pedal bumper. I called for an appointment in July. I was told the "recall team" wouldn't be in until Sept. 16. I made an appointment for 8am. Dropped the car off the evening of Sept. 15, so it would be there first thing in the morning. As of 7pm on 9/19, my car still has not been serviced. How long does it take to replace a door latch and brake pedal bumper? No explanation from the dealer. SI was told there was a specific "recall team" that wouldn't be available until Sept. 15 when I made the appointment, so staffing issues does not suffice as a legitimate excuse. Why did I even bother to make an appointment over a month in advance? This is entirely unacceptable. This is the second time I have tried to act responsibly on a recall notice, and this same dealer couldn't do fulfill the request over a period of several days. If there is a corporate Ford complaint center online, I will be visiting it next. The fact that there is no explanation from them makes the situation even worse. Go anywhere else!

I believe if I had used cash, it would have been fine. I looked into financing elsewhere, and they were fine with that. But I ended up going through them.
