Exceptional all the way around. Gorgeous location, close to walking the town, yet a world of it's own. From service, to rooms and restaurant a definite 5+ star. Be sure and try their seasonal cocktails, made with juices from their organic gardens. Wine list exceptional as well. Very memorable.

Let's start here - I'm giving Bardessono a 5-star because of their ability to make things happen & quick! ON my very last day there - I was literally packing to check out - I dropped my brand new diamond earing down the sync (in the King Spa Suite) and the engineer came out and was able to take the sync/drain apart and salvage it!!! Not only was this a diamond, it was the gift, my husband gave me on our wedding day,12/31/2021 (Yes!! that was just a week ago). Now let's begin .... KEEP READING CHECK-IN: Valet is top-notch and so friendly. I normally never let the guys take my bags up, but it was my honeymoon, so why not?! We checked-in, was handed a glass of lovely red wine (cab), and were literally shown around the grounds. Beautiful, might I add. 5 star here. CONCIERGE: Katie was the MOST accommodating ever. We chatted just a few days prior to 12/31 (my wedding date) as we booked this place a little last minute on a change in honeymoon plans. (We were supposed to be in South Africa - COVID-19, but a huge damper on that). She booked our dinners (using their Open Table), our private vehicle for a full days travel and wine tours. I would recommend knowing what wine you like, and if you don't ask for her recommendations and hotel partnerships. Top notch here, 5 star. THE ROOM: King Steam Spa Suite (Room 109) Beautiful and serene. You can tell the age of the place, but over all nice. Cozy fire place, which we used every night since it was cold when we stayed there. Bed was fantastic! Normally pillows hurt my ears as I'm a terrible sleeper, but it was perfect. Huge bench for your luggage and 2 double closets to hang things. 2 separate syncs across from one another and the toilet had its own door (loved this). There was a tub (didn't use) & the stand up shower. Spacey for 2 people. I admit, the shower heads could use an update, or add in a body sprayer (hand shower hose/head), for guests like me who may not want to wash their hair everyday. Low water pressure then what I'm used to in luxury resorts and hotels, but tolerable. Didn't use the shampoo/condition but loved the body wash! SPA: The spa was very nice! Nothing to write home about as I just had a 90-minute massage. I did enjoy it, and loved the pressure from the message therapist. The CBD oil was phenomenal - Highly suggest. Did not get to try the jacuzzi or heated pool. Couldn't get a couples massage in the room (timing), but it is offered. Huge plus. OTHER DETAILS: * 109 does sit in a place where behind the room you can hear dumpster trucks (if its that day), or big trucks behind. I'm a heavy sleeper so didn't hear it when I slept but noticeable while watching a movie/tv. * Lucy's was great & so were the drinks! Overall, this is a wonderful choice for the guests who is NOT seeking a party atmosphere, a wild night out, or large gathering of guests just getting rowdy. Serene, peaceful & restful. 10/10 The staff go above and beyond to meet the expectations of their guests. This matters! Thanks, Bardessono staff for making my stay memorable. The hotel is incredibly clean and the measures taken to ensure the pandemics guidelines are definitely in place here. I stayed in the King steam spa suite with fireplace. The bathroom is much bigger so to accommodate an in room massage, facial or other spa treatments. The bathroom had a steam shower that was fantastic— with a door that lead to an outdoor shower. The jetted bathtub was amazing! The room was a little smaller than I expected. The bed was not extremely comfortable. Other than that, a trip here to relax and maybe hit a few laps in the rooftop pool is suggested! The grounds are immaculate, and Lucy’s restaurant on the grounds had a great menu for fitness freaks foodies alike! Lucy’s beet and ginger shake cannot be beat! The burger is fantastic too!
