SCOBGYN has been nothing short but amazing and providing excellent care. I had been going to Dr.Grumbach for a few years prior to my first pregnancy and he was fantastic. The staff has always been incredible.. the whole facility is warm, welcoming, and kind. Dr.Grumbach performed a c-section with my first child and it was a wonderful experience. He took excellent PP care for me, and helped with any issues I was having. I’m on baby two, and it’s been a very difficult pregnancy for me. Having HG and feeling very sick has been awful. Dr.Grumbach and the OBGYN staff have taken care of me and getting me through this. Dr.Brooks is also a fantastic Dr. She’s very thorough and caring. I love this place and they are by far my best group of physicians that I go to.

Dr. Ridenhour took the time to understand my issues and help me find a permanent solution many years ago. When they moved to Lexington area, I followed them. When Dr. Ridenhour was out sick, I started seeing Dr. Knowleton. He is equally as great! Now 27 weeks pregnant, I’ve had the chance to meet a lot of the doctors and staff. Everyone I have I countered at SC OBGYN is absolutely the best!!

I truly have been less than impressed with this practice. Arrived at 8:50 for an 9:00 appointment and was not seen by the doctor until roughly 10:05 with no apology or consideration of the fact I spent 2 hours away from work to attend the appointment. I don’t want to name the doctor because I respect them and genuinely like them but today very much frustrated me. I understand that staffing issues and a high number of patients can cause lag time but don’t over schedule and book patients if you cannot get to them in a timely manner. We have jobs and lives we put on hold to maintain our health.

I got the most awful experience a year ago and lost a 36 weeks 2 days baby who was fully formed and could be saved from placenta abruption. I can finally post this reviews today because time helps me to heal even if it is still very hard just to think about. It is just difficult to understand why I was going there twice a weeks the last trimester... why I was having ultrasound every week ...why they ignore the fact that my blood pressure was very high for the first time the week i lost my baby during my Monday and Friday visit and I even after i mentioned it......why they saw protein in my urine on my Friday visit and nobody called me back and my placenta ruptured on sunday.....why did they ignore the fact that I was having a lot of swelling and legs itching that week and I told them....why they wanted to discharge me home the same night I lost my baby with eclampsia and i ended up with 2 units of blood transfusion..... I will never find an answer...my baby will never come back but I wish I could have a minus segment to rate this place.

Fibroids and cysts are something providers can help with. Call any ob-gyn and set an Appt.
What color discharge?? If it's white that's normal if it's bloody she needs to call her doctor
For the South Carolina OBGYN, parking on the very side if you're facing the hospital front looking at it from Highway 378, to the far left. There's also a parking garage on that side as well
