I'm not sure why all the one star reviews. Yes it's a place where you stand in line to talk to a government employee. I'm sure the DMV has great ratings too, lol. The place is always open for me to ship with their automated mailer which is usually in working order. My only gripe is that they took away the tape from the lobby for mailing priority packages, but I'm guessing that's because that's because it was abused by others.

My local Post Office had some horses ride through today. What a fun day in Columbia County.

Walked in to renew my passport with no appointment just to ask a few questions to how to applied for the renewal and Mr. Arnold was such great positive employee that knows what he is doing and help me answer all my concerns, mind you to do the renewal of a passport they do by appointment but he took care of me right then. He made it an easy process. Plus I had all the documents needed to complete the application. Great customer service.

I’m so done. We have been at our current address for months and all of a sudden we get a vacant card in our mailbox. We have very important mail we need before we move out soon. I waited a week for them to take the new card from our mailbox to show that we still live here… no one has picked it up. I go in person to hand them the card and a day later the card reappears back in our mailbox?? I’ve been to this post office twice. no one has informed me if I do keep our card in there or not and where our mail has gone from the past 2 weeks??? They say they send it back to the sender but I’ve contacted the companies and they’ve received nothing. So now all of our mail is just lost in the void or they’re holding it and don’t want to look. This is the last thing anyone should have to worry about when they’re in the process of moving out of the state.
