It was a delight to see the community come together the farmers market. They had a little petting area animals that have popcorn and warm cider free with contributions and they were giving out food double the amount for the price with the use of EBT cards I loved it

LOVED it!!❤️ Love buying local --- supporting local, small businesses. Walked there from near downtown -- maybe 20 minutes or so. Even on a warm, summer morning it wasn't too bad. It was my first time at this location --- and loved the offerings. Fruits and veggies. 🍎🍑🍅 Fresh cut flowers. 💐 Breads. 🍞 ...a plethora of items! Shoot, I believe today one could even go home with an adopted kitten!😸 If they ain't got it --- you don't need it. 😁

My wife is the executive director of the market. It is open rain or shine. Also, vendors accept cash or market tokens which you can purchase at the HCFM booth with a debit card.

Why have so many of your vendors switched to the Landrum Farmer's Market? Could it be the cost of a booth = $40 v. $2? Why is your overhead so expensive?

They might go there but lose the money of those who can't go that far.... Some people live close enough to walk to Hub city farmers market.... I won't even drive that far away to buy from them.....

Winter Justice | Sep 27, 2019

Some are. It depends on the farm from where they come. Each vendor should be able to tell you if you ask. They have to be honest because they can get in a lot of trouble for giving misinformation about the produce!
