I cant even begin to describe how fantastic my experience was at River Garden. When I called to check availability for my mom, the ladies in admissions walked me through every step and really eased the stress of finding the perfect place that could take care of my mom. So greatful!

I did not have a chance to experience the care RG is providing due to simple admission issues. I was told that my mother will be able to enter a rehab after hospital stay, but it might take another week, which was fine, hospitals do not kick you out until you placed elsewhere. However, the same admission lady told me in a NOT very polite way that she never told me such a thing, so we had to find another place in a real hurry, which is never a god thing.

I am hard pressed to write anything critical about River Garden. On a surface level: the lunches are free, there is no holiday time but you receive 7.08 as a FT employee to compensate. The benefits are fantastic and HR is always there the go over my benefits with me anytime I've ever needed assistance. What makes River Garden great: 100% the workplace culture. Employee retention is their highest priority and its very much reflected in the long tenure of so many employee who have been here 20+ years. Management and my coworkers genuinely ask me how things are going in my position and actively listen and provide guidance often. I truely have no complaints.

Outstanding facility with exceptional care for my mother. Many may get 'frustrated' with how particular the staff is about key rules and expectations. Frankly, this is what I believe makes River Garden outstanding in what they do. The administration takes great pride in the staff and the care for its residents. Staff is incredibly accommodating to each individual and genuinely cares about each individual resident's health and welfare. Planning care for an elderly parent is in no ways 'easy' for the family. I would strongly urge any caregiver to reach out to River Garden for information and guidance to see if the facility would be a good fit.
