Decal checking was fast. As usual multiple people have no clue, or just don't care about pulling in to the recycling area. Yeah , always one or two without a clue. Bins had room so, job accomplished. Interesting leaving decided to pullout because a truck had to come to stop to turn in and someone in minivan decided to go into idiot lane around the four vehicles stopped for turning truck. Yeah, do not count on people to follow the law, always be alert. ☠️🐺

All those items are good, and things like yard waste, different kinds of chemicals, paint, regular trash and the usual recyclables. They will let you know which dumpster to put what in. Whatever can't be recycled or identified seems to go into regular landfill kind of trash. You can back up your vehicle very close to the respective dumpster, and they are usually on hand to help you.
Yes you need to join
Yes. Everyday except Wed and holiday
I believe so, yes.
I believe they will accept EVERYTHING, in the rear bin (#9?), although they don't recycle everything. Styrofoam is taken, but dumped and not recycled. I've seen furniture and everything else in the bins up the hill near their shelter.
A lot of them have places to put flammable liquids and paints laquers etc. I know for sure the one on Shanklin Rd does.
Closed all federal holidays
No
Yes
Closed on Holidays and Wednesday
Don't believe so.
Yes, normal hours.
There are 4 centers that will take your dishwasher. Shanlin, St. Helena, Hilton Head and Bluffton or as its called Simmonsville.
They were closed Thursday and so far Friday despite virtually all other county functions being open. They should announce when they plan to re-open rather than just locking the fences and putting orange cones out near the road. Even if they can't open evry one, they should open at least one or two. Disappointing. My 2 cents
