This place is amazing destination for young and old. It's a real live steam and diesel heavy repair shop in action. You can visit year around, they do fall excursions, August open house, pumpkin trains, santa trains, and much, much more! They are located just East of 469 on US 24 at the Webster Road Exit. Once you are on Webster Road head South two miles and turn Right and they are located on the left side a quarter mile to the West. Stop by and check them out!

We have visited the Santa train for four years now. My boys love it each time! It’s such a fun, unique thing that a small city like Fort Wayne is able to offer. The inside of the train was decorated really cute, too!

Going up to the Ft Wayne Historical Society Open House at the Nickle Plate Road #765 home in New Haven Indiana. There were items on sale, Railroad memorabilia, and plenty of food trucks to …

Fun experience to see nickleplate 765 and other trains up close. Got to take a short ride too.

No this is a GM truck storage lot.
She is always out and about for the Maumee Valley antique tractor show in August!
It would be an interesting piece. You may also check antique stores.

I think it depends on what excursion you are going on. When we did the 10 minute steam engine ride we paid like $7.
Our excursion schedule will be regularly updated whenever new information is available: https://fortwaynerailroad.org/events-and-excursions/
I would recommend visiting their website @ fortwaynerailroad org. They have a great deal of info on schedules, tickets & more.
Admission is free to our site in New Haven and tickets for rides on site generally run between $4 and $7 during our events.
Hard to say for certain without inspection. But almost all railroad artifacts have value. Find a local railroad club or take it to the historic society for evaluation.
