Y is there sand in the bottom of our new saltwater pool? We have literally swam in 5 times. Haven't backwashed because the gauge is still at 20 psi. Has great pressure at the jet! Please help. Pool co. Won't return my calls! HELP PLEASE

Diaphragm in the sand filter is stuck move around to all positions one at a time then cut on pump on each one at a time see if this corrects the problem
